The Gothic style mainly manifested in the architecture of temples, cathedrals, churches, monasteries. Developed on the basis of the Romanesque, or rather Burgundian architecture. The Church of the monastery of Saint-Denis , designed by Abbot Suger, is considered the first Gothic architectural structure.
