The tarhatinsky megalithic complex

The complex was opened and examined in 1994 by an expedition of the Gorno-Altai state University under the leadership of V. I. Soenov.

The tarhatinsky megalithic complex consists of stacked in a circle of stones, rounded boulders and stone formations of varying size from 0.5 to 6 m in diameter. The largest blocks of size 6×5×4 m. the distance between the stones, boulders and various calculations. On the stones of the building, and also on a separate stone, located in 70 m from a group of rocks caused petroglyph compositions, among which are the stories and images relating to the bronze age – early iron age: images of bulls, deer, camels, and anthropomorphic characters.

In a series of stone blocks-megaliths, which are selected by its shape reminiscent of a traditional Altai cradle, locals call this stone “the Cradle of Santaka”.

Researchers have not come to a consensus about the functional purpose of this huge construction made of stones. Presumably, this object, in ancient times, was the Observatory – a place for astronomical observations. Petroglyphs drawn on separate blocks of the complex indicate its ritual purpose.

This Grand structure with a diameter of about 60 meters and consists of huge stone blocks the height of which distillable 4 meters various kinds of stone formations, arranged in a circle. This megalithic complex, the researchers classified archeoastronomical. Such complexes were essential to the ancient inhabitants of the Altai to harmonize his life with the cosmic rhythms. This structure show a developed cult of Heaven among the ancient peoples of Altai, and, therefore, about honoring Time. About the astronomical purpose of the complex is evidenced by the almost exact orientation of structures to the cardinal. Lines passing through the centre of the structure, connect the centers of the following blocks and groups of stones. Dvenadtsatiletny the structure of the complex not only confirms his calendar and astronomical sense, but is similar with other cosmological phenomena of architecture, such as Arzhan in Tuva, Stonehenge in the UK, etc.

All the ancient megalithic complexes with circular architecture was used as an Observatory for measuring time and calendar logging. The researchers argue that all the stones Tarhatinsky complex were brought by people from the nearest exit of bedrock especially for the construction of this facility. To detect the complex to the attentive traveller is easy.

One of the most mysterious objects of the Chui steppe. He was investigated in 1994 by an expedition of the Gorno-Altaisk state University. On the huge stone structures, as well as on a separate stone, which is located 70 metres from a group of stones inscribed petroglyph composition, which points to the ritual purpose of the building. Among the paintings are images related to the bronze age – early iron age: images of animals and anthropomorphic characters.

Builders of the time built this structure knew the magnetic characteristics of rocks and how to distinguish them. The magnetic characteristics of the structures have a very fixed pattern: when setting stones in certain breeds order was established geomagnetic anomaly, which is deliberately used (under certain boundary conditions, there is an intensified activity of the brain and heart).

Actually a set of “worked” and how the energy-information receiver, battery and translator, and was based magical activity of the priests. One structure of this complex resembles a huge stone chair, which has several names – “Chair of the shaman”, “the chair of Santaka”, and on the back of this “chair” petroglyphs.
